Goodnused

I had a clear fluid in the car from the factory. But the owners manual says to use Type F fluid in the power steering unit. Does anyone have any knowledge or opinion on using either of these Fluids. My gut level tells me...to go buy something aftermarket P.S. fluid..that is l clear. Rather then the Red type F transmission fluid.
