New to the forum and to Volvos in particular...And I am having a few challenges...

How do I set the ignition timing on my 93 Volvo 240 Wagon...tried rotating the distributor, with no change in the timing mark....Also, no overdrive, relay clicks under right dash, solenoid on trans is quiet...where does the wire connect at the other end?

hello I'm new and i don't know even hove to use that .I got problem My Volvo is v70 2006 year and yesterday whenI try change oil on bottom of the engine is square box with 2 hose running out and up is small leaking of oil ,right beside of bolt for bleeding ,can you please tell me what is the problem and also I need to reset service light .Thanks Eke.anyway I don't know where is that oil filter I think is under that square box because there is no other place where it could be Thanks again.

Thanks for doing this forum. So far, there is not as much available as I had hoped, but hopefully that will change as time goes by and more folks jump onto this site. I am also driver of VW TDIs and there is a great foerum that addresses them. Worth more than I can say. I hope to see this one approach that someday.

Rich, well if I can relate. I'm a car guy. I own the site, but I don't own a Volvo. I think Volvo make a great product and I also enjoy being able to help people. The site when I bought it had a number of software issue that I've worked out and now I'm building links and traffic. Everything is going in the right direction and traffic continues to grow. You have a lot of great feedback and I appreciate your input. The site doesn't make any money right now. My goal is to get as traffic grows some sponsors. We are also setting up a VCOA chapter here in Atlanta. If we ever get to a point where we are making some money and you are still contributing I'll make sure you buy you dinner or something more accordingly.

Sulley, thanks for the oppurtinity to help others. I'm not a Volvo owner but I get to see a lot of them at work, obviously, and like to share knowledge. Not only that, I get a lot of good info myself. --Rich
