Default '69 145 Points/Condenser

I may have an older distributer in my '69 wagon (145). It has the 2-piece point system which I was attempting to replace--everything is new, points, condenser, dist cap, plugs, wires, rotor, and now it won't start. Gap is set at 18, everything seems perfect, only it won't kick. It ran fine before I did the points. I just wanted to keep up on routine maintenance. Did I miss an essential step in the process?

Thanks, SC
