I'm now driving my recently acquired and well-tweaked 1993 240 wagon. Upgrades include four new speakers,a new CD player with hardwired iPod adapter, remote auto start, and a long list of suspension upgrades by IPD in Portland, OR. Included in the handling department are new 17" wheels and tires, high performance shocks and struts, lowering springs, heavy duty sway bars, adjustable torque rods and panhard rod, upper and lower chassis braces, as well as stainless steel brake lines to help with the stopping. This is an amazingly clean 88,000 mile car that is as close to a new 240 as you can find. Both the interior and exterior are almost perfect. All it needs is a hundred or so more horsepower to drive it into the corners with just a bit more energy. I'm trying once again to figure how to shrink a decent sized picture into a small size that this forum will allow. Can anyone tell me how to "shrink" a photo that is in .jpg format?

double click on the photograph, and go to the top of your computer screen. Click on *Edit Pictures then on the right hand side, click on *Compress and *Web Pages.

top right corner, click on the X. "There are changes that have not been saved". (Click on save).

You now have made your huge file into something small, that can easily be emailed or posted on a web site (faster than a biig ol' file)

I was able to figure how to size an image so I did post one of my wagon on my original message in this thread.

Jerry,

The tires on my wagon are 215/45/17's. The car really does handle well with this setup but it does ride very firmly and transmits much more road noise than the car did when stock. I suspect that the Poly bushings and overall tightness in the suspension are the cause for this additional noise. The wider tires are also somewhat "grabby" when driving on worn and rutted pavement, an almost constant situation here in Alaska where crummy roads are the norm.
