I Am Currently In Possesion Of An 84 Volo 244dl It's Naturally Asperated And Well A Little Sick. I'm Pretty Handy With A Wrench But Very Volvo-stoopid. I Will Be Swapping The Motor ,but The Tranny Is Good (4 Speed With Electric 5th) Are There Any Decent Motor Swaps That Will Bolt Up To My Drive Train??

well i havn't done any thing yet. as of now it is still running, but it is definately starting to make noises that are no good for a motor. i can rebuild it and probably will,but i was woundering if there was anything else that would bolt up. just to see what my options are.

Have you tried salvage yards? I bet you can find a wrecked car with an engine you can swap. You should take pictures and post up a 'how to swap out an engine' deal here on the forum!
