i live in nigeria-africa, recently (nov. 2006) i bought a 1994 volvo 440, all the shocks seem to have busted, i have laid my hands on a pair for the rear but cant seem to find replacements for the font, is it possible to use shocks from some other make like peugot, renault or some how fix them? thanks

i think to order from halfway across the world may not really make a lot of sense, because the cost of shipping would probably be higher than cost of shocks themselves, so i think it may be better to source them locally, i was hoping that parts from some other make would fit
