Default volvo 740 1992. non turbo wagon

ihave to issues no.1 my car run great but idels rough sounds like it wants to die. it doesnt ,but drives me nuts. no.2 is my headlights wont come on.started after putting in a new alpine radio. fuses are fine repaced relay and light switch .

I would go back and look at what you did when you installed the new stereo. If you put the old radio back in and everything worksw fine again. Then I would suspect something either in the ground or when you were moving harnesses or the amplifier on the left side of the steering coloumn has caused your problem. Just a wild guess...but it sounds as what you changed, may have created your problem? Good Luck!
