Default AntiFreeze in Oil after Oil Trap Change Out

99 S70 with 122K miles. I changed the oil trap and stopped the oil leaks. Now I have antifreeze leaking into the oil pan.

When changing out the oil trap, I noticed there was a connection under the left side of the Air Intake Manifold. This connection is a junction of three hoses; two from the breather hose and one going to a connection near the thermostat (and thus antifreeze).

First: Can anyone tell me what this line is that is going towards the thermostat?

Second: Why am I getting antifreeze through the oil trap and into the oil?
