Hello, I work at a Lexus dealership and we just got a 2007 S40 2.?i. It is red with 38K miles. I know i can get is around $12,000. Are there any issues with the 07 model? Any thing to look out for? What MPG are you guys getting with mixed driving. I have read some things about electrical issues, is it common? Im coming from a 05 Scion tC. Thanks for the feedback.

Welcome to the forum from Atlanta. You should be able to get around 20 city and as much as 28 on the highway. There is a known recap in the master cylinder so you would want to know that it was completed and taken care of. Double check the rear pads as they tend to wear faster than some other cars I've seen. There were also some electrical gremlins some owners reported such as with the starter control module. I would just check every electrical component there is and make sure everything is A-OK. Your best bet would be to take it to a Volvo dealer or independent shop for an inspection.
