Default Maximum Wheel Size for S40 2006 2.4.
Hi all - I am looking for a set of wheels for my volvo s40 2006 2.4. I was thinking to buy the Volvo Medusa wheels 7.5 x 18" with tires 235/40/R18. Do you think this size fits the car? Volvo dealer recommends 215/45/R18 but I want something a little bit bigger. Any comments? Have you tried a bigger size without rubbing the inner fender.

The dealer is right unless you want to do a little work. If you roll them out and run a small spacer 235 is doable.

Which rim? They all have slightly different offsets

Medusa 18" x 7.5. That's all I know. I bought them on a Volvo dealer, new, OEM. You can see these wheels online at Volvo S40 Accessories

Is this what you need?

225 is really gonna be about it on a 7.x5 Medusa.
