2002 S60 rattle from right rear undercarriage area

Hi, I have a rattle that sounds like metal on metal. I have removed everything including the spare, etc from the trunk, no help. i usually can find rattles and fix them when underneath the floor board, the exhaust system, various other parts by shaking and banging everything and anything, but this one is driving me nuts, can't find it. I also took off the rear drivers side wheel and bang, shook all in that area including the springs, the struts, brake lines, all the brake
parts and cowling that is in the wheel well behind the wheel . Can't find it. Any ideas?? I want to sell this car which is otherwise in great shape but if I was a buyer i'd balk due to this rattling !! thanks, Steve, "Rattled near Boston"
