Rear window defroster fails to work. Used a meter to measure the two contacts on passenger and driver side of window and also several of the horizontal heater strips and ground. Detected 12 volts at each. So can't figure out why it doesn't defrost the window? Dontja just hate electrical problems! Advice please.

Have you inspected to see if any of the strips are not making connection anywhere through the grid?

Good point...No I haven't checked each strip but I will. I assumed since I was getting 12volt readings on both connectors and a few of the strips that they were no breaks

If you find a break there is a repair kit that can ususally fix that. Good luck!
