Unhappy Fuel Gauge Not Working, worth replacing?
My mechanic says the he has never "bothered" to replace the part that fixes the odometer reading and/or the fuel gauge....He says it is VERY costly, so just fill it up on Sundays. I really don't feel comfortable driving long distances with an "empty" fuel tank reading.

what say you guys? Thank you all in advance.
