Matt67 bit late to reply but I'm new and just came across your problem. Flywheel problem is rather easy to detect, press your clutch pedal and if you can feel the vibration in your food than in all possibility your flywheel is on its way out. if you get it fixed replace the clutch too (tho not needed but you got it split there already - saves you time in case the clutch got a hitch of it).

V70 D5 manual engine vibration at low speed

I have a V70 diesel manual, and at tickover to appox 1300 rpm there is a distinct vibration . Also, from 1000-1300 rpm, the car should be able to pick up speed smoothly (if not quickly) but this now produces quite a bit of jerkiness .
Is this the dreaded dual mass flywheel problem, or perhaps a fueling issue? I want to get an idea before I go back to the trader I bought it from
Cheers, J
