BrownDavis Odds are that a considerable lot of you have gotten the normal "Against Skid Service Required" message from your P2 (like the Volvo S60). On the off chance that you haven't, there's a decent possibility that you may go over it later on. This regular mistake message will in general be discovered most ordinarily on the P2 stage vehicles running from model years 2005-2010.

The most widely recognized reason for this message is because of a flawed directing edge sensor. The guiding point sensor is consolidated into the Supplementary Restraint System (SRS) contact reel, which is really a piece of your controlling wheel module. Within the guiding wheel sensor is a code wheel which pursues the development of the controlling haggle the directing wheel edge, turning velocity, and number of turns.

The initial step to cure this issue is redesign the guiding point sensor programming. On the off chance that the product has been introduced and the sensor r-adjusted, yet the blunder message still stays, at that point another guiding edge sensor must be introduced.

Substitution

Stage 1: Disconnect the battery and hold up around 5 minutes before playing out any work - Safety first.

Stage 2: Undo the three T-25 torx screws from the controlling segment covers and evacuate the spreads.

Stage 3: Insert the key into the start to free the controlling lock. Turn the wheel a quarter turn on each side to uncover the two openings on the back of the wheel. Supplement a level head screwdriver into the opening and pry up so the screwdriver pushes down on the catch discharge. Do this in the two openings. This will discharge the air pack from the controlling wheel.

2007 Volvo S40 T5 Anti Skid Service !?!?!?

I had recently bought a 2007 Volvo S40 T5 and just yesterday I was driving the car completely fine and all of a sudden all my dash lights came on at once and it said Anti Skid Service Required. Checked under the hood turned out my Serpentine Belt tore so I replaced that belt and my AC Belt as well also noticed the tensioner pulley needs to be replaced. Tried to turn on car and it said Immobilizer see manual and so I tried to reset it doing the unlocking and locking of the doors which resulted in it saying Anti Skid Temporarily off waited about 5 hours to allow car to reset tried to turn it on and absolutely nothing. A bunch of different failure notices started appearing that made no sense believe it is because the car needs a jump start(dead/battery) but I doubt it will turn on !! Any solutions????
