Hello everyone,

I just removed my calipers from my 73 p1800 es. I bought the car recently, but the calipers were sticking since it was sitting for 3 years. Can someone reccomend my options. Should I buy rebuilt ones, new ones or do I need to buy rebuild kits. I live in Southern Ca. and was hoping to find someone near to order from.

Thanks,

Vladimir

I went to my local auto parts shop and had them sent away to be re-built. No fuss, no muss - they said they have ben able to have any calipers or master cylinders fixed.

They were sent away and it took about two weeks but they came back like new, bead blasted clean with new pistons, rubbers and bleed nipples. Make sure you remove the adaptor fitting from the secondary front hoses - I left mine in and they were discarded in the re-build.

I paid about $60.00 CDN each, better than having to buy new and more reliable than attempting to save pistons, etc., and fixing it yourself.
