Hi, so i replaced my rack and pinion about 6 months ago, because the steering wheel was cocked to the left and it was really hard to turn right, it was all good up until yesterday and now i can barely move the wheel again. It has a brand new rack and pinion and i keep the power steering fluid full at all times. does anybody have any ideas on what is causing this?!

The other symptoms are; gets easier as you turn left, harder as you turn right, the steering wheel used to be a nice distance from the console behind it, but now its smashed forward it seems, it makes a clank sometime if i drive into a driveway or hit a bump while turning. I'm thinking its not the rack because i just replaced it, maybe its the steering control?

it went from fine to bad in a matter of days.
