Hi everyone,
I've just purchased my 1982 Volvo sedan (amazing car - must have been truly luxurious in its time) and am wondering about what kind of fuel I can run it on. I can't find anything saying it's able to run on anything except Leaded, but my mechanic (who has been servicing the car for 10 years previous to my buying it) says it runs prefectly on Premium Unleaded; my dad (who is pretty knowledgeable about cars) says I should just run it on E10. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with this model and what kind of fuel you run it on?
Thanks,
Hannah

The Ethanol in the E10 could negatively affect the rubber parts in the fuel system. Modern cars are now built with this in mind. I'd go for the premium unleaded.

This car should have the OHC B21 engine which means an aluminum head and steel valve inserts so no worries about using unleaded. Super has more detergents and cleaners in it so will be better for the engine.
