My son owns a 1984 sedan and we would told my questionable repair place that it needed 800$ alternator. It starts but will not consistently start once yiu have been driving it. Our son isn't working so the $ is a problem but we'll help him with repair is it makes sense to do it. Any wise volvo people want to advise?
