1992 - 240 HOT Start Problem

Hi all. New to the forum. Have a peculiar problem.

240 1992, 5 speed manual.
Cold starts pretty hard, but runs OK once it warms up. THEN, when my son stalls it (as he is learning to drive) it simply will not start again. Turns over. Has spark, but appears to have no gas getting past the injectors. Good fuel line pressure. Even when I juice it with starting fluid at the intake/air cleaner, NOTHING. Once it cool down again, it will start. This is happening over and over. If he turns it off at the switch, it starts up again. BUT, when he happens to stall it out...NOTHING will get it to start again. Any idea? I usually can figure things out, but I'm stumped!
