Hi,
new 1992 740 Wagon (non turbo) owner here:

What is the MPG estimate for this model? There is a sticker on the inside of the gas compartment door that says it gets 45 MPG but on a couple of websites it says 20 MPG?

What octane fuel do you use? I think the book says 87 min, 91 pref. What do you use?

City should be 18 and highway 26 with a combined of 20. You should be able to run 87 octane. If you hear a pinging sound from the engine when going uphill or when the car is under a load you may need to consider 91. But in most locations the 87 should be fine.

Thanks Sully,
When Svedka gets back from repairs I'll have to take a closer look at that sticker. I have no idea what it is. I just saw it and I was like no way it can get 45 MPG.
I put 87 in her yesterday, we'll see how that goes.
