I have a 1992 volvo 940. The headlights won't turn on. I checked the fuses under the ashtray and they are fine. I was trying to install a stereo in the car and it might have caused this problem. I don't know. There are some big fuses in the back of the fuse box, but don't know what they go to. Can anyone tell me what might cause the headlights not to work?

MrMarvin - sorry to hear you're having trouble. Can you give us a little more information. Can you confirm that the lights worked before you started your radio installation? Also, when you turn the light switch on do all the other lights work like the taillights, brakelights, turn signals?

Headlights

Thank you for the reply. I got the problem fixed. It was a fuse that was blown and didn't know it was connected to the headligts. I am going to have the radio professionally installed so this won't happen again. thanks for your help.
