I currently own a 93 850 that I love but I'm not liking the way the front styling is compared the 94 and up models so I was wondering if anyone has swapped on a new front to their 93? I have all the parts necessary for the swap but before I go tearing it apart to start putting the newer stuff on I wanted to get some more info. Thanks for all your input and help.

Apparently this is a forum with a very small following.... so I just changed the front end over and everything fit the only thing that was different was the connectors for the headlights, luckily I had the connectors from the other car and was able to splice them in and everything works but the motors for the dip beam (US Spec car with Euro spec front end/headlights) the wiring was there inside the car but apparently not in the engine bay so I'll have to figure out where to wire them in and go from there.

Welcome and thanks for the update. We have about 200 people a day including several Volvo Technicians so it may be that no one had a good answer for you. I saw the post and didn't know for sure and didn't want to 'steer' you wrong. Thanks for the update as this will help others who follow that want to update the front of their 850's with a newer front end!
