Up for sale is a 1996 850 Sportswagon, 20V I-5 with 191xxx miles. I really appreciate the vehicle, but a newer S40 is being given to me and I don't have the time and resources to return this beast to its appropriate state of repair. Returns 20 mpg on short trip and town driving.

Good:
Solid body
All airbags intact
Good rubber (not high speed rated but solid)
All internal electronics function (driver's seat adjustments have quit)
Clean interior
Goes like a raped ape when needed
Recently replaced rear calipers/pads
Replaced cabin fan
Not so good:
Front windscreen is cracked
Uses and leaks oil (1 qt every 1200 mi)
Parking brake inoperative
Lift gate cover is gone
Rear wiper has quit
Front struts squeak
AC is inoperative
It has been a good car but needs a better home than I can provide.
