I'm really confused what is going on with my car. I'm an owner of 2000 Volvo V70 2,4. (Automatic transmission). Transmission has broken and service computer says it's Hydro-kinetic cluth's fault. For now car is in the service for 3 months (!!!) and ALL possible IN-gearbox parts has ben repalced (not only cluth).

Generally car is working, and you can drive for 20-30 kilometers, and than that "orange arrow" appear on the main display and the car switches to service mode (which means it drive on 3-rd gear ALL time). Than if u have service computer you can reset car's main computer and drive another 20-30 kilometers.

I thought it's main computer's fault, i replaced it, the issue is still on.... I have no words for it. Service man can't stand this issue anymore, and they have no idea what to repair/replace. i'm depressed because i have no car for 3 months now.

If any of you guys had an issue like that give me a shout here.

Best regards.

maybe it's some sensor in the clutch, or the cable between the sensor and the clutch? I've had similar problems in a ford i've had some time ago. Just disconnected the cable and BANG problem solved, but sometimes engine died on low revs when it went below -15 deg. C.
