Hey all, just wondering if any of you have had this experience? Took my s80 to a ford dealership,(nearest Volvo dealer is 160 kms away), had an engine light on. Code read p0420 indicating a problem with the cat. With tax, the dealership wants $5835.00 to fix!! Mexhanic said he checked the after O2 sensor but not the front one.
if indeed it is the cat, can this be straight piped and deleted?
