2010 Vintage Volvo Challenge at Sears Point

Not Laguna Seca, but Sears Point!! I currently have 25 cars on a growing list including PV 444s, PV 544s, 122s,142s, P-1800s and a few very unique Volvo powered specials all running in the same group April 10-11th with CSRG. Sears is a world class track and $450 is a good value for as nicely as CSRG treats their participants.

Cars are coming from back East, the Midwest, Canada, the Northwest and California. We'll have lots of activities and goodies. A sit down dinner is planned Saturday night for interested parties. Sponsors are welcome and we invite street cars to display in the pits.

Everything is LOCKED IN for the race, but there have been a few changes.

The 2010 Vintage Volvo Challenge will be run at Sears Point Race Track (Infineon for you non vintage types) and it is now a three day event. The dates are April 9, 10, 11th and it will be run with CSRG.

My list is now fairly steady at 54 cars and 25 of these are West Coast cars. Sears Point is a very technical track that hosts NASCAR and IRL events so the facilities are great. It adjoins to the Wine Country so the tourist possibilities are endless. We will have a car corral for the VCOA and individual Volvos who want to join in the fun. Lots of goodies and events planned so stay tuned. The same weekend will feature an All Alfa Romeo race group so lots to watch.

Three sponsors so far but more are welcome, it all goes back to the racers.
