I'm a new member but love the site it seems completely helpful glad it's here! I was wondering if there is a way to remove the trim without making it into a million pieces? It seems like it will if I go slow enough, but its more of a curiosity than a necessity. It seems like you can order a new kit online I was just trying to save a little money and possibly spray paint it.

You may try applying some heat from something like a hair dryer to loosen up. Welcome to the forum, glad to have you here.
