I have unbolted the cat from the turbo, removed the egr tube, taken the o2 sensors out, unbolted (ok cut off due to rust) the rear clamp and taken the cat to engine bracket off . There doesn't seem to be enough room to wiggle the cat out?!? do i need to remove the entire exhaust manifold? I am trying to get the cat out to reweld the cat mounting bracket that has cracked off and now makes the car loud. thanks for any advice

well the old cat is out repaired and back in

You absolutely must take out the turbo for the cat to come out. THere is no room between the firewall, driveshat and turbo otherwise. guess I'm the only one that works on is own car. Not a lot of fun but hey cest la vie
