My daughter clipped the driver side mirror backing out of garage and seperated the two halves of the shell on the mirror. No cosmetic or mechanical damage (a couple tabs look broken). Dealer wants $580 to fix but it looks like I should be able to snap them back on (maybe with a dab of crazy glue). But I can't get the bottom half to line up...seems like I need to remove the mirror. How do I access the mirror for removal? Remove door panel? Through black plastic piece with small speaker at top right of door? (don't want to snap this off if I'm wrong). Thanks.

You can easily manage to put the old ones itself. No need to spend $600 for that. Atleast you can give a try. there is nothing to loose in any case.

It shows the inside door and If you look carefully, there appears to be a bolt for the mirror.
