I am trying to find used/new parts for my 1987 760 GLE (power steering pumps and hoses), at a good price that is... but I am curious that if a power steering pump from a 1987 740 Wagon would work in my 1987 760 GLE? If you know the answer this please let me know! I don't believe mine is working quite like its supposed to be and has quite the leak

Note that the 740 Wagon is a 4 cylinder and my 760 is a V6...

Im not sure if this makes a difference or not, I was thinking that it might mount differently but I cant find the answer!

Nevermind I finally went to Napa and asked them to look up the part number for the pump of both models and they are different Looks like I will have to fork out the $114.00 dollars for the new pump and reservoir....

Sorry you didn't get an answer sooner on this one, but the information will help others in the future to know that the 740 wagon and the 760 power steering pump are different.
