I own a Volvo V70 mod 2001 and during my stay in greece i've decided to rent a new Volvo s40. It's now 3 months i have this car in greece and the matters started one month ago, since the battery went off. From that day the audio system as all the checkin panel in the central consolle stopped workin. Useless to say i've got the car to the maintenance service. Ok here in greece seems nobody is able (after one month trying and trying) to solve this matter. I keep having the screen displaying only the temperature and all the audio system is not workin. Ok i am not expectin an answer from here (but would be really welcome) was just to make u part of this matter and share it with other volvo owners. Thnx for your attention.

Theft Code
When a Volvo radio losses power it will not work until the theft code is punched into the unit. With the car's VIN number (sometimes you also need the radio unit serial number) you can get the code from your Volvo dealer. Turn the radio on, input the code and you should be in business.
