Just purchased an Android Carplay AI Box that converts the carplay connection into wireless carplay/android auto plus allows nearly any Android app to be used. Takes about 30 seconds to boot up and is actually pretty quick. I've played 1080p videos through Plex even though the Macan only has an 800x480 resolution. Sound quality is good and haven't seen any audio/video lag.
