i have an engine D12D. There were 2 inlet valve broken.I have carryout complete top overhaul with all valve,valve bush and valve guide change. after complete job and running for 1000km++ again inlet valve broken.It was broken on top of lock key position of inlet valve. WHat should I do now. I dont think there was problems with the cam shaft. Somebody advice change all the valve caliper. Anybody can advice?:confused:

measurement is good veb is slightly out 1.6mm.

have u put the calipers on the correct way around. if u look at the bottom of them there is a elonggated slot that should sit towards the camshaft. if this is not correct it can cause the valve to be pushed un even.

keep me up to date with the progress.

i did change a used engine due to no confidence anymore. but anyway I will still repair on this damage engine. will take your advice on the caliper. TQ for your reply and support. can i get your email? and where you from?
