Replacing the battery on our 2006 Volvo S40 Turbo for the third time in the last 6 months. Then the engine woulld not shut down when the ignition key was turned to the off position (we needed to pull out the key to stop the engine). Alternator was also replaced the second time. Volvo dealer thinks the CEM is the cause and needs to be refurbished or replaced. Key word here is thinks ... Volvo is not sure about this fix.
Any thoughts Volvo Forum?
