Hello,
We have a 2002 V40 that needs a brake booster vacuum hose, part 30620958 due to a vacuum leak. This part is discontinued and has been impossible to find (new or used) for the past several months. Any ideas or how you've handled similar situations? I've contacted several shops and no one is willing to try to repair the existing part, and we cannot renew registration on the car with the check engine light on.

Check out Robert DIY on YouTube. He has vast knowledge of older Volvos and scours the country for older Volvos. He then cannabalizes usable parts and makes them available for users who need discontinued parts. Hope this helps.
