Hello, and thanks in advance for your support.

I want to know when to change my oil and filter since I'm new to Volvos' and just got a 1993 940 wagon and the owners manual, (yes it was in the glove compartment !), said every 10,000 miles.

I'm used to 3000 miles.

Is this 10,000 mile thing correct ?

P.S. I love the no rust factor about this Volvo thing !
Any suggestions as to the secret rust spots on this vehicle , so I might be able to try for the 1,000,000 mile status ?

First of all you should to know when the last oil changed and after how many miles? Now what is your car mileage? Owner manual telling for a new vehicle you bought new one or second hand?
