Hi. I have been driving a 2002 model Volvo S60 for three years.
I have recently used synthetic oil at my last oil change and find oil in the water bottle.
I do not find oil on the dipstick, so there is none in the sump.
What could the problem be?

could be you head gasket.

if you fire up you engine, and open the water bottle (while the engine is still cold!) and then listen very close at the water bottle, and you hear presure leaking in the water, then go to a volvo dealer, en they can probably tell you if you need to replace the head gasket.
