Your mechanic has no experience and he do not know how to work. He did not fit the pump well just re check the fitting and by your mechanic or find any good car care shop to identify the issue.
Fuel Pressure Pump problems.
I had a new pump fitted, the problem came up as P1221, hoping to solve the problem. The maintainance light is still on and there is now erratic idelling, with the car reving and jumping a bit. The mechanic who works on my car is not sure what it could be. He suggested I join the forum.
Has anyone any ideas of what the problem might be ?
