I had to store my 2018 XC90 in VT for 6 months. Filled gas tank full before leaving. Also added dry gas. When I returned started getting the smell of gas near rear passenger wheel well. Also, could not pump gas from pump without the pump shutting off ( backing up ). So, found the EVAP canister, and pulled off the Air Filter can. Gas came out ! Assuming not normal. Can Gas get forced up into the EVAP canister and filter like this? Do I need to replace the Canister if I remove and drain ( if gas is in it)? I don't know if gas is in the Canister, but assume it is. Are there other parts I need to check?
