...and am having difficult time finding technical specs on the car. Does anybody on here know if the Canadian model of the GL has a carbureted engine or is it fuel injected?? Would this car have the B21A engine in it?? I can find lots of information on the GLT model but not the GL for some reason.

Also, has anybody here ever swapped out the double round headlights for a set of the double rectangular ones?? The fit looks like pretty much the same by eyeballing it. I'm presuming that the wiring is the same for both set-ups, but if I am wrong feel free to correct me.

Canada did have a mix of carb and FI 240s early on. Probably the 2.1 OHC and only in basic trim models. Our emission laws were different from the US at that time.

You're in Halifax, the Canadian assembly plant for these was in Halifax, find someone there and get all the correct info.

The double rectangular, high/low beam, outer bulb reverses the high and low wires from the round version. You'll have to re-wire the connector or find an old adapter for H4 lamps for the square units to get this correct.

Thanks for the reply BHart!! Good thing that i didn't just go ahead and put the new headlights in. That could have been nasty.
