(big sigh here) oh the pain, the indignity of getting pulled over by three of Forsyth County's Finest late at night.
Love my old 240, but apparently when the headlights are ON, the brake lights are ALSO on. They function normally in the daylight (when my headlight switch is in the OFF position), but as soon as I turn on the headlights, the brake lights also come on and stay on.
Brake light anomalies have plagued me for a long time. Seems one (usually RL) is always going out. My local shadetree mechanic swaps out the brake light switch at least 2ce a year.
Any ideas? I would hate to give up on this old beast for (could be?) a minor problem.
Hep me! Hep me! I am losing what's left of my mind!
