Hi,
I have a 2005 VOLVO Xc90 2.5 t. I was driving out of a parking lot yesterday and up a Hill (doing about 15 mph) when it made a loud noise from the engine and completely started sputtering out. I immediately put the car in neutral and brought it to a stop. I had the car towed back to my house. I thought it was the timing belt( has 140k on it) but it has been replaced so i was told by the dealer. I started the car and it turned over , so now i know its not the belt. Also when it started to stall out the inside of the car started to smell like burnt rubber. Anyone have any idea on where to start on this? Water Pump maybe?
