I took the Volvo in for service/diagnostics because the check engine light was constantly on. I checked the gas cap and its fine. I was charged 150 bucks just for clearing the error codes causing the check engine light (which re-appeared 3 days later). The charge was for 1 hour of labor. Is it really that complicated to clear these codes? Was I ripped off?
