ok so im pretty sure i have seen something like this on here, but i just cant find it. sometimes when i get into my 2000 s80 T6 the passenger side mirror will be different then how i left it. All i have to do is move it again, but it is weird and kind of annoying.

Also a few months ago when i put a cd in the changer, it would not play and is now stuch with an "error" message. Any ways to possibly reset the changer or will i be needing to make a $100 trip to Volvo dlrshp? Thanks!

Have you tried sliding a credit card under the disk cartridge? Sometimes there is a release there. If that doesn't work there was a service bulletin for the S80 Volvo and the repair for the CD radio unit.

See the bulletin I have included You would have to see a dealer.

ATTENTION: PARTS MANAGERS, SERVICE MANAGERS AND WARRANTY ADMINISTRATORS

TMA has expanded the processed for returning audio units diagnosed with stuck CDs. Below are two basic procedures to use as applicable.

Procedure # 1: TMA WARRANTY RETURN

For All Audio units that are requested to be returned to TMA for Testing and Analysis.

Compact Discs may get stuck in the CD-Changer drive. If this occurs, DO NOT ATTEMPT to remove them.

Please fill out the attached CD/rape Return Form completely and legibly. The form must be visible inside the audio box.

Return the radio unit to TMA per established shipping instructions as detailed in SMB 00-170.

Upon removal, CDs will be mailed to the Retailer per the information on the CD/Tape Return Form within 2-3 weeks of receipt. The retailer is responsible for returning the CDs to owners.
Note: Audio units tampered with or opened, or damaged from foreign objects inserted into mechanism drives (eg. coins, business cards or visibly evident peeling CD-R labels) will not be covered under warranty. Claims will be rejected and the unit and removed CDs will be returned via UPS freight collect.

IMPORTANT Please wait for the TMA return request before returning these units. Please ensure that all TMA Warranty claims, TMA Warranty Core reports and the new CD/Tape Form are included with the unit.

Procedure # 2: STRAIGHT CORE RETURNS

For returning a ,non requested or non-warranty audio core unit to your local Distribution Center with a diagnosis of stuck CDs.

Please fill out the CD/Tape Return Form completely and legibly. The form must be visible inside the audio box.

Continue to include all applicable Core Reports with the units. Return the unit to your local Distribution Center.

The local Distribution Center will process the units and forward the units to the refurbishment facility. CDs will be removed by the refurbishment facility. The CDs will then be returned by mail per the information on the CD/Tape Return Form. This process may require more than 3 weeks, depending upon which audio unit type and the refurbishment facility.

You might also try doing this. Remove the fuse for the unit while it is switched on. Then switch off the ignition and replaced the fuse. After 5 mins switch ignition back on and the unit goes through a CD mechanical reset then may work Ok again.

I just read that the mirrors will adjust to the last setting when you unlock the doors with the remote that locked the doors. If you share the car and remote with another driver this could explain the change in adjustment.
