Inductive CAN bus reader?

Question: I am to purchase new external lights for my V40 - 19 (not sure about the design though as I stand between bar or round ones: https://ljusgiganten.se/led-ljusramp or https://ljusgiganten.se/led-extraljus)
That I need a CANbus Inferface goes without saying, but have any of you tried to use the Inductive CANbus reader? How did that work out for you? Did you still have to cut a lot of wires to make it work?
