for $100 I picked up a 65 (not sure what I got) staion wagon amazon? It has our seats, windshield, gold emblems, you name it. This body will be my drag race car after Destiny's 65 amazon is restored. We banked on this find.

We have this 66 fury three I am going to demo (lottsa trim and chrome leftovers by the way) and after we wreck it we will pull the 318 and probably rebuild it and see what we can do with that. I have the large olds motor also that was foe a 442(rocket) and that is a possibility. My brother does that sorta thing so i will share the project with him. If we don't do this, it will sit around and I have to much junk. We have build some strange cars from scrap

The 455 belongs to my son Nate. It is a possibility, but most likely I will rebuild the 318 and go from there. We will chop the top and bring the rear posts up to the driver and make this one look like a small pickup. I have been working on some drawings of what it would look like.
The 1965 that I grabbed for Destiny already has a lot of work done in its restoration. I will finish that project first though.

here are some of the drawings from the Volvo gallery, I tweeked them to show what a chopped top would look like. I like the bottom design for my drag car.
I did get a commitment from my son and brother to build this race car , i promised to share the car with them in return for some work on Destinys car. I love these cars. They just look sexy.

Karl, as soon as I get the parts car over here next week, I will send you my vin #s from both cars. So I guess ya have to hang with this thread , and of course, if you know of some pics of modified volvos, let me know. I will look at all your links in the morning sometime, if not I will be on tomorrow evening.
