I had a similar issue, found the thermostat to be failing. Ten dollar fix, but to test it, place it in a pot of boiling water and see if it pops open.
losing coolant
I have a 2002 c70 that is running fine but I am losing coolant without any obvious leaks. I am concerned I might have a head gasket leak. Are there any other possible souces and if it is a gasket any ballpark estimates on a head gasket repair?
