I towed my 2006 Volvo v50 home after a belt blew and as I was towing it home I had the hazard lights on. After towing for a couple minutes it gave a loud beep inside and said something to do with anti theft and then turned off all auxiliary power. Once I replaced the busted belt I tried to start it but it won't start and just turns over very slowly. Any help on this matter would be very helpful please

Check battery, Volvo's are very sensitive to low battery power, and it appears your immobilizer went on, so try to disconnect battery for 10 minutes and reconnect and have battery tested, even one bad cell can cause all sorts of phantom issues. Use key in door locking an unlocking five times may also reset immobilizer.
