New member ,WILL from Auburn Washington.I am a single parent.I own a 1986 244 DL have done the brakes ,fixed the overdrive(simple) and numerous other small tasks.I don't know much about Volvo's except our family Volvo survived all the Kidd's !!! Help..do you have to have both ALT belts hooked up?

HUH??? I need help with a question.On my 86 244 it has power steering A/C ,do you have to have both ALT belts hooked up? Is there any way to by-pass the A/C and just have the power steering? WILL

Welcome from Atlanta! Why do you want to bypass? Is this a belt that powers anything else? If not then you should be able to just remove it.
